In a recent interview, Pat Sajak admits to being drunk on the set of Wheel of Fortune in the early days. He and Vanna White favored a particular Mexican restaurant near the studios in Burbank and would drop in during their 2 and 1/2 hour taping breaks and knock back quite a few margaritas, to the point they wouldn’t recognize the alphabet! Sajak, now 65 years-old, has been hosting the show since 1981 and made the revelation in an interview with ESPN‘s Dan Le Batard.
